The Weight of The Glass: The Value of Self Reflection


Our lives are made up of thoughts, 
emotions, beliefs, habits and what have you. All too often we tend to dim our light in order to fit into the crowd, believe what people have to say about us, down talk ourselves into believing we are lesser than what we should be. Did you know our thoughts control what happens to us? I know this may sound like a cliche but believe you me it works. According to research it is reveal that positive thinking is about much more than just being happy or displaying an upbeat attitude. Positive thoughts can actually create real value in our lives and help us build skills and memories that can last much longer than a smile.




Whether good or bad, thoughts do affect us in so many ways, it is the fragment of our reality, we are first prophets to our lives and all of it is determined by our thoughts. I personally have come to realize that life is SIMPLE and EASY if we want it to be and it has worked for me in several cases, and how do I do that? POSITIVE THINKING. . . 


According to Psychological behavior dictionary, Positive thinking is a mental attitude in which we expect results. In other words, positive thinking is the process of creating thoughts that transform our inner energy into good and favorable reality. A positive mind is an optimistic mind, it awaits happiness, good health and a happy ending in any situation. Negative thoughts make us sad and positive ones make us happy, but neither of them are closer to the truth. Neither of them has a bigger chance of happening, so let's understand how our thoughts affect our moods and attitudes, then let's let them go and live the life that actually is before us in the present moment, and let's be the people we want to be. 


In order for us to be productive in life, we must learn to control our thoughts. We must learn to use the right types of thoughts that enter our minds daily. Also remember that not all thoughts produce actions that lead to results. Only those thoughts that we dwell on predominately are what will lead to results for us.

  6. Positive thinking relieves stress -There were moments where I was stressed out emotionally, physical, financially and all the *cially you may know but I always remind, "I can do better" and the next thing, I'll feel at ease.
  7. Negativity can blind people’s mind. If we turn our thoughts from the negative ones into positive, our eyes will be opened and we will see the bottle half full, instead of half empty. We will start to notice solutions and possible ways to solve the problem.
