Be The Model And Not Just A Model


People who are constantly striving to improve themselves will tell you one thing for sure, one thing they all have in common is having role models in their lives.
This is a series i started, all thanks to Oba. TK. for helping me pull this through. What does it means to be the MODEL and not just a MODEL? And am talking about two different things here.


According to Wikipedia, A model (from Middle French modelle) is a person with a role either to promote, display, or advertise commercial products (notably fashion clothing) or to serve as a visual aide for people who are creating works of art or to pose for photography.



A role model is a person whose behaviour, example, or success is or can be emulated by others.



In this context, am talking about YOU THE MODEL.

 When faced with peer pressure, economic adversity, unsupportive environments and tough decisions, a role model can provide input and advice to a young person who may not have any direction or support from other sources. For a person suffering from mental and physical disabilities, a role model who has endured the same adversities or experiences can offer insight and help teach him how to cope with these struggles.


Role models fill that position quite nicely, and having one or more in our lives more often than not acts as an indicator that we are about to score big in the game of self-improvement.


After all is said, what is your life saying about you? One way or the other you have people who look up to you for either advice, someone who will listen to them or copy your lifestyle. 
They will try to copy your qualities, and mimic them as much as they can. They may come to pick up things as dedication, discipline, positive outlook on things, courage, self-confidence, compassion, and many others. So you see you become a MODEL for them to idolise.
Live POSITIVELY for the seek of HUMANITY............
