What is Your Voice?
Your voice is your authentic self speaking, it is your identity expressing itself. It is your personal and individual message to humanity.


Voice comes from the Latin root vocare, which is also the root word for vocation. One of the many ways you can express your voice is through your work. But Finding Your Voice is about so much more than a career choice. It’s about having clarity of life direction. It’s about giving full expression to your true self  without holding nothing back. Your voice is your medium of impartation to the world. 

According to Stephen R. Covey in his book The 8th Habit, He defined the Voice as the overlapping of the four parts of our nature: our body, our mind, our heart, and our spirit. These also represent the four intelligence: our IQ for the mind, our EQ for the heart, our SQ for the spirit, and our PQ for the body.

To help you find this, answer these 4 question.

What are you good at? That’s your mind.

What do you love doing? That’s your heart.

What need can you serve? That’s the body.

And finally, what is life asking of you? What gives your life meaning and purpose? What do you feel like you should be doing? In short, what is your conscience directing you to do? That is your spirit.

People are internally motivated by their own four needs: to live, to love, to learn, to leave a legacy. When they overlap, you have voice-your calling, your soul’s code. Your voice is your contribution to mankind.


How To Find Your Voice
  • Valuing your enduring qualities and unique traits  which is your gifts, experiences, knowledge, compassion, and skills. When you have come to the awareness of your innate value, a light begins to shine within you.
  • Your voice must be something other people care about. It must be beneficial and interesting for other people to hear your voice. 
  • You have to believe you have potentials and own it.
Many people have found their voice in what they love doing. Beyonce found her voice through music,the carpenter has a voice by producing your furniture, your Religious Clerk has a voice, AY found his voice in being a comedian, i have a voice because i express myself through this medium and a whole lot of people that have found their voice through their work. 

Do your homework and find your voice, the world is waiting for you.
