Building A Strong Personal Brand

Understanding how to brand ourselves begins with uncovering who and what we carry. Our personal brand is not a tagline or an ad campaign or looking all fly, swaggy or slay but It's a combination of our interests, beliefs, ethos, values, talents and skills, among a number of other characteristics there may be. Personal branding is about honing our skills, narrowing our focus, and clearly understanding what we’re passionate about.

According to OAP Jakes Tudu "you don't need to build a mansion to be yourself. Not everyone knows who we are, and that means they probably have no idea what we do and how good we do it, it’s vital for us to give our skills a bit of recognition. I was wowed when i contacted a painter, he came along with his catalogue and all. After painting he made sure everywhere was clean, am sure most painters don`t do that and am like see branding and by that he gets recommendation. Personal branding makes us stand out of the crowd.

Our personal brand affects other people’s decisions about our intelligence, character and ability and determines whether the other person wants to do business with us. The way we act and present yourself has a remarkable impact on the people we meet professionally and socially. This will have a great effect on how others treat us.
