Practice To Be More

“I believe that we learn by practice. Whether it means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by practicing living, the principles are the same. In each, it is the performance of a dedicated precise set of acts, physical or intellectual, from which comes shape of achievement, a sense of one's being, a satisfaction of spirit. One becomes, in some area, an athlete of God. Practice means to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. The practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired.” ― Martha Graham

No, Stop Asking For It

The only permission, the only validation, and the only opinion that matters in our quest for greatness are our own.” Dr. Steve Maraboli You might be broke and broken or have random questions like... Am I good enough? Or even smart enough? Beautiful or handsome enough? Why don't I feel content with what I have? I don't see myself talk more about the world seeing me.  One thing you should know is that the world didn't give you permission to be here or even yourself asking to be in the world either. But some of us are still asking for permission but sometimes you have to stop asking for permission, but give the world notice that you have been here, give the world notice that you have played politely long enough, and now it's time to play full out.

“We cannot think of being acceptable to others until we have first proven acceptable to ourselves.”― Malcolm X Knowing our Value or self-worth is an emotional subject, and often confused as to how to answer the question when asked. It is easy to identify when we don’t feel valued, respected, or appreciated, but knowing our value is somewhat different.

“Energy is your most precious human resource.” - Susannah Seton Most of us are barraged by some kind of “bad” energy every day, whether it’s from traumatic news stories, mean classmates and coworkers, or just scrolling through our social media feed, food, and exercise, also our thoughts, emotions, and interactions with others affects our energy and our energetic field. It’s never easy to be around negativism. But beyond that, it can be quite toxic and detrimental, fostering a mindset of cynicism, fatalism, and even defeatism.

The Power Of Gratitude

“You were given life; it is your duty (and also your entitlement as a human being) to find something beautiful within life, no matter how slight.”—Elizabeth Gilbert. Ferris Bueller also said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” Gratitude is an immensely powerful force that we can use to expand our happiness, create loving relationships, and even improve our health.

The Intense Beam Light

An old Senegalese proverb says that opportunities that God sends do not wake up those who are asleep. All around us are opportunities to be all we dream to become, all we have to do is to be open to the possibilities, to the magic of such events.
