Box Bob Braid (Trending Hairstyle)
So i decided to try out this old school hairstyle and it turned out cute on me... hehehehe...Bob is this season’s hottest cut. This cute hairstyle is timeless and will truly never go out of style. Short box braids are easier to maintain and install. Also, they are much lighter on the head. If you opt for bob, you’ll still be able to style your braids and rock some super chic hairstyles.
Box braids have been around for a while and are definitely not going anywhere anytime soon. While the trend has shifted from micros to jumbos to classic poetic justice to all the way down to your butt a la Solange versions, the newest braid trend is definitely the bob.
Make sure the braids are uniform in thickness from top to bottom. This makes them neater.
This style is super versatile and can be tweaked in various ways to achieve different looks!!
you might be wondering how to do the style if you have hair longer than
shoulder-length. And it might be really frustrating lol i know so this is what Naturally_Candace, did to her hair, she crochet braided the back of her hair for
bob box braids, but she actually just cornrowed the back and only
braided the top 3/4 of her hair! Either of these options – crochet or
cornrow – are perfect for folks with longer hair who don’t want to
sacrifice length to get the bob box braid look, but keep in mind you
won’t be able to do many of the styles.
1. The part: This is so
far the most important of all. We all know the particular hair parting
that makes us love our faces and gives us the perfect picture pose.
Could either be the centre, side or C-part, so if you considering this
hairstyle, kindly stick to part which you have tried, tested and found
to work!
2. The length: The shape and structure of your face is also key! Knowing
and sticking to lengths that flatter your frame is the only way to make
this work for you.
-You should know that some of your hair could get nicked at the nap
where it will be burnt. To avoid this, ask your braider to fold up the
ends of your hair while they braid or just do like I did: have each
braid end a little over where the length of your hair ends, resulting in
my unequal hair length.
3. The Size: The appropriate (tried and tested) size is medium to fat
braids! This way the braids are able to curve into a bob after they are
burnt at the tip.
