Types Of Watches To Have In Your Collection (Men Fashion)
Hey Fam, I got inspired to do this post by a darling friend that loves wrist watches... Rolex collection to be precise... this is for you baby.....In today’s world of smartphones, smart watches, and clocks on every digital interface we encounter, a watch is almost pointless… at least from a utility standpoint.
You may be wondering do i really need a wrist watch?
A man with style understands a wristwatch represents much more than what it’s designed to do.Much like attention-getting socks or a cheeky monogram inside a suit jacket, a wristwatch showcases the wearer’s personality. It can also convey his taste, wealth, even humor Also, unlike women, men don’t have many jewelry options when it comes to accessorizing their base outfit.
.
Type 1: The Dress Watch with Leather Strap
When you’re attending a formal event—anything from a traditional wedding to a black tie event—classic and understated is best.
Your accessories should match the formality of the event itself, and when it comes to your watch, a simple style with a light-colored face and black leather strap is perfect. (It goes without saying that your leather shoes and belt should also be black.)
Type 2: Metal Fashion Watch, or Activity-Specific Watch
Metal watch bands have the advantage of neutrality. Your metals should always match, but men usually wear little jewelry – if you have a silver-tone watch band, it’s easy enough to make sure you’re also wearing a silver-tone belt buckle rather than a gold one.
Sometimes, a fashion watch can be worn in dressier situations. For example, you have a Gucci Pantheon steel watch you can put on shorts and a T-shirt and wear this watch and can put on a suit and can wear this watch.
I will classify a fashion watch as something that can be used in a variety of casual situations, and combines form and function in a way that speaks to your personal style. This may or may not have a fashion brand name attached to it.
A lot of it comes down to preference, so if you like something and can afford it, buy it. Just make sure you’re wearing it in the right situations–in this case, not to a formal event.
Type 3: Sport Watch with Rubber Strap
Sport watches are fun to have when you’re working out, playing sports,
or just being active in general. They’re usually more lightweight and
able to take a beating.
Type 4: Everyday Casual Watch or Dial and Case Style
The everyday causal wrist watch can be worn at any time of the day from running of errands to movies to shopping or anywhere.
The dial of the watch is the round, visible face on which the hands
move. The case is the metal that encloses both the dial and the movement
(mechanism) behind it. Dials, on the other hand, range widely in color. Some are deliberately
plain and simple (a black dial with a metal case is probably the most
common option for men), while others have a bright color like the
signature red of Victorinox (the company that makes Swiss Army knives).
This are but the few types of wrist watches i can bring... hope this was helpful? i need your feedback... thanks Fam
